Please consider taking a few minutes now to drop your alder a note on how you value cable access and want the city to keep funding it.
With the city budget under review, several alders have made threats on WYOU’s funding. WYOU is a TREASURE for peace-lovers in Madison, and has aired the following documentaries this last year:
“Unprecedented” (about 2000 elections) “Uncovered: the Truth about the Iraq War” “Outfoxed”
and coming Tuesdays in November at 10pm, “Hijacking Catastrophe” with narrator Julian Bond.

WYOU also airs “Democracy Now!” and “Free Speech TV” Monday-Saturdays as well as many other more random informative peace-related shows. I would suggest to also call or email the Mayor as well as the alders — you can find their e-addresses and telephone #s by calling the same number — 266-4071.
