Your web site (www.npr.org) notes that "The demonstration follows a week of violence during which more than a dozen Israeli soldiers were killed that more than 30 Palestinians dead (sic)."
It is not hard to understand why some feel that U.S. media are biased against the Arabs when such subtle, hopefully unintended, racism appears in even the best of our media - Israelis were killed, Palestinians died. Is the killing of Palestinians to be considered as something akin to a flu outbreak while the deaths of Israeli military members are described as killings?
