ECUMENICAL MEMORIAL SERVICE

March 19, 2005 marks two years of the current war in Iraq. After the bloodshed that has happened in that time, an urgent call to action is going out to honor the lives lost in war and to advance the imperative for peace. Edgewood College and Lake Edge United Church of Christ are joining to host a Memorial Service to honor the dead and advance the cause of peace.

March 16, 2005 is the second anniversary of the killing of Rachel Corrie by Israel Defense Forces in Rafah. Rachel will be remembered at this service with the reading of a tribute. We hope that you can attend.
